Aichele Purchases Site in Gastonia Technology Park for Manufacturing Plant
August 8, 2014 — The Gaston County Economic Development Commission is pleased to announce that Aichele Werkzeuge, GmbH has purchased a six acre site for construction of a manufacturing plant in the Gastonia Technology Park. This purchase will provide Aichele the ability to better serve the needs of their customers in the Americas. The investment will be around $2 million for new construction and machinery & equipment.
Aichele Werkzeuge, GmbH is a family owned company with over 70 years of experience in the area of rotary cutting systems for the hygiene, non-wovens and paper industries. Based in Crailsheim, Germany; Aichele has earned a world-wide reputation as a recognized specialist in cutting, milling and drilling tools. The firm is proud of the comprehensive custom solutions it provides to its customers. Aichele specializes in machine construction, developing effective and customized solutions ranging from the rotary cutting unit for existing production lines to complete cutting solutions with feeding and removal of the material, including the drive and controller.
