Industrial Commodities, Inc. Expands to Kings Mountain

The Gaston County Economic Development Commission is pleased to announce that Industrial Commodities, Inc. (ICI) has purchased and is renovating the plant located at 210 Kinder Manufacturing Access Road in Kings Mountain. At this facility, the privately held company will distribute a variety of industrial food ingredients.
For 35 plus years ICI has been delivering quality food ingredients to customers across the United States. ICI endures to deliver the industry’s best supply chain value to both our suppliers and our customers. Mr. Joseph Pryor, Vice President of Operations for ICI said, “This property, its infrastructure, our planned improvements, and the team we are building will deliver on that promise for years to come. ICI would like to recognize and thank Gaston County, and the City of Kings Mountain for their superior focus of support towards our investment. We have found a home in Gaston County, and look forward to the future partnership.”
Mr. Chad Brown, Chairman of the Gaston County Board of Commissioners said; “We are excited to welcome Industrial Commodities, Inc. to Gaston County. They are a world class firm which will fit very nicely into Gaston County’s growing corporate community.” Chairman Brown added, “Gaston County constantly strives to provide an outstanding business environment for all of our corporate citizens. Through the Gas-ton County EDC’s Business Retention program, we will continue to provide service ‘after the sale’ for Industrial Commodities, Inc.”

We want to make certain that your experience with Kings Mountain is a positive one.”
Mr. Fred Jackson, Chairman of the Gaston County Economic Development Commission, stated, “As Chairman of the Gaston County Economic Development Commission I want to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Industrial Commodities, Inc. for locating their newest facility in Gaston County.” He added, “The Gaston County Commissioners and the City of Kings Mountain are to be commended for the support which they have provided for Industrial Commodities, Inc. I also want to thank the staff of the EDC for all of their efforts in landing this project.”
